Media Release: Promotions facility now available on the SANParks website
Existing promotions can either be viewed for all parks or a visitor can refine their search by selecting a specific park. The portal aims to increase the ease of use when booking and planning a trip to one of the parks.
According to Glenn Phillips, SANParks Managing Executive: Tourism and Marketing, “This new functionality is vitally important in addressing two key challenges, firstly it helps SANParks sell accommodation that becomes available at the last minute which will allow those with a tight budget that are prepared to wait for these discounts or who are able to travel out of season, to get the opportunity to visit National Parks. Secondly it gives opportunities to those travellers who are part of the growing trend of making short term decisions to travel to secure available inventory online and book and pay immediately.”
