Following the successful re-introduction of a herd of 20 buffalo which comprised of nine cows and eleven bulls in Marakele National Park in 2013, ten cows were released into the park early this morning.

On Tuesday, 6 November 2007, a pack of 18 African Wild Dogs was translocated from Marakele National Park (South Africa) to the Northern Tuli Game Reserve (NTGR, Botswana).
