The Global/Skukuza Club Championship 2007
After the very successful Club Championships of 2006, the time has come to start planning for our next Championship Competition in 2007.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to participate in this great event. I am sure fun will be had by all! Just ask all those who went this year.
The Game will be held on the Saturday; morning as well as afternoon, with dinner and awarding of prizes that evening at the Lapa. You can find out more about
The format for the weekend will be: -
Friday 8 June 2007
Arrive at Skukuza Rest Camp. Stay at either the Chalets or in the Tents.
Join us for a Bring & Braai at the Club Lapa and meet your fellow competitors.
Bar will be open till late.
Saturday 9th June 2007
Morning Field will tee off at 7:00 am. Afternoon Field at 11:30 am.
It will be a shotgun start.
Caddies and carts are available.
Watch out for the Elephants!
Closest to the Pin, Longest Drives etc will be included.
Non-Players and Family can picnic and be merry at the Lapa or go Game Viewing.
Dinner, consisting of a Braai, at the Lapa at the Golf Club.
Bar open till late.

Depart Kruger Park whenever you want.

If you want to turn up sooner or stay longer, you need to let us know so that we can arrange the additional bookings.One needs to be in the Skukuza Camp by 6:00 pm. Families Welcome.
Aside from the accommodation costs, the only other additional costs are: -
Entry to the Kruger National Park. If you do not have a wild card, then it will be R 30.00 per day per person
R 300.00 Competition Fee for Each Golfer playing in the competition.
R 125.00 For each person joining us for dinner.
Children under the age of 12 will be charged half price for dinner.
Do not forget Toll Fees and Speeding Tickets!
There are speed traps in the park.
Remember! Skukuza GC is a 9 hole Golf Course and the Skukuza Rest Camp has limited accommodation, so we can only accept the first 100 players who book for the Competition.
We recommend that you book early to assure your place. Provisional booking is acceptable but to guarantee your booking you will need to make a 10 percent non refundable deposit.
Full payment must be made before 31st March 2007, unless special arrangements have been made.
We can only do this on a first pay, first play basis.
Club Championship will be based on the following rules: -
1st Place Mens. Field will be split in A, B & C Handicap Groups.
1st Place Ladies. Field will be split in A & B Handicap Groups.
Overall Club Champion Ladies and Men.
To Book Your Place
E-mail Global Handicaps with the following details: -
Global Handicaps Membership Number.
- Names of everyone in your party specifying players, non players and children under 12.
- Code of the Bungalow required. If you come by Caravan, please book with the Parks Board.
- Date you want arrive and leave. Default Arrive 8/6 and Leave 10/6
- Play in the Morning or Afternoon.
- Any special arrangements required.
Non-Members can only play if there are openings available.
