Albasini Ruins
The Albasini ruins are a well-known historical site in the Kruger National Park. The site consists of the ruins of Joao Albasini’s house and shop and some other cultural remains. Archaeological excavations were carried out on the site and walls of the building were reconstructed. A site museum was also built in which the history of Albasini is summarised and artefacts from this site and associated site are displayed.
