Hello and welcome to the forums, Céline. :D
You will be charged conservation fees for the nights that you spend in the Park.
You pay per day if you sleep outside the Park and enter as a day visitor.

Wild card or daily conservation fees ?

Unread post by celinegs »

Thx Matthys !

In this case, 3 nights for my family mean:
(R 304 x2 adults)+ (R 152 x 3 children) = R 1064 x 3 nights = 3192 Rands

Less than a family Wild card (int'l) = 4130 R

We will also visit Cape vidal, but they do not accept Wild card (and perhaps Malolotja).

Are there other adavantages with wild card for "out of africa" poeple who will not come back until several years ?

thx !

Please see .10 reasons to travel with a Wild membership, Céline.

I hope that you will be able to spend more time in our Parks when you return, so that you will fully benefit from having a wild card and do wish you a wonderful KNP experience :D and that you will share your memories and photos with us afterwards.

The quarterly magazine is fantastic and monthly email newsletter too! Perhaps you'll get a few more ideas of places to go from reading these and be back sooner than you thought

Celinegs,

It also depends on what type of card you get... I always get the "All Parks" one that is NEARLY the same price as the most basic one
This gives you free entry to all provincial reserves (not KZN) and even Swaziland etc....
enjoy your stay!

Maybe you should stay a bit longer!

God bless,
