KTP Leopard: Sethunya

Unread post by WillieV »

Sethunya is a word in Setswana which means Flower.

Hi all.

We are back from our 14 day visit during May to the Kgalagadi.

I would like AstroMatt to please identify this female that we have seen on 10 May at Eland water hole.
She was seen before and after our sighting at the same place.

My full report will follow later under travel tales.

Regards

Willlie

@WillieV
What a fantastic sighting and pix! :dance:
:hmz: I have had a quick look and I think this leopard might be no. 50! I am sure AstroMatt will post soon and let us know - he does have more Id pix than me. If you could please fill in a sightings report for AstroMatt - see the link at the end of my post.
Thank you for posting! :thumbs_up:

Thank you anne-marie and wanderw.

We were told at Nossob about the Leopard at Eland, someone said there were two, but I have no proof of that,
may be some body have pix to post.

I specially drove to Eland, but with no success. On our way to the tented camp, we went straight , via Marie se draai, to Eland and were first there in the morning to find the Leopard next to the road between the flowers at the water hole. I could not believe my luck.

I am almost sure it is no 50.
