Best Constituency Builder Award
This award is given to a candidate who demonstrates general willingness to go the extra mile in educating the general public on the park and connecting the communities to SANParks. This award shall be based on measures employed in positively engaging communities, building relations in accordance with the People and Conservation ideals of the organisation.

The winner is
 Mxolisi Fulumente / Mountain Zebra National Park

A panel of adjudicators then makes their investigation and verification of the information on the motivation. Year in and year out this panel of external adjudicators take time out of their busy schedules to assist SANParks through the journey of arriving at this point and we think they deserve a round of applause.

CORPORATE CONTRIBUTION to CONSERVATION AWARD
This award is given to companies or persons that have made significant contributions to SANParks whether through awarding of land, money or human resources or any other contributions in kind. It is purely based on merit and there are two sub categories
• Corporate Contribution ( Non Profit Making Institutions)
• Business/ Concessionaire Partner of the Year
There were two nominees in the category Corporate Contribution to Conservation (NON Profit Making Institutions)
• Cape Town Environmental Education Trust
• Telperion Unisa Conservation
Our Winner of this Kudu Award is Cape Town Environmental Education Trust

And the Kudu Award goes to Cape Point partnership with Thebe Tourism.

ENVIRONMENTAL MEDIA CONTRIBUTION AWARD
This award is given to environmental or conservation journalists that has conducted their reporting in a socially responsible manner and have given extensive and balanced reporting on conservation related matters.
6 Nominees for this award are Gabi Falanga, Elise Templehof, Gladys Mathebula, Elize Parker, Michael Appel and Anena Parker.
We have four winners and they are:
