Where will you find a plaque commemorating Cecil "Bvekenya" Barnard? He build a drift there circa 1920.

Yes, renierdutoit. Klopperfontein is correct. Stephanus Cecil Rupert Barnard built the drift there. His exploits are found in the book Ivory Trail. He was very active in what is now known as the Crooks' Corner area of the Park.
