Thursday Thanks Under The Ubuntu Tree
Was thinking .... today feels like a good day to give some thanks to SANParks staff. So here is Thursday Thanks Under The Ubuntu Tree You might have had dealings with SANParks staff over the last week or so, yesterday was a hectic day for reservations, you've recently come back from spending time in a SANPark .... If you have anything, big or small, to thank them for, drop it here under the Ubuntu Tree and I will pass it along. Thanks.

Matty I agree.
Without Rose many SANparks staff would never know how some people appreciated their good service

Matthys and CV - thanks but it is so important for them (SANParks staff) to receive a pat on the back and a humble thanks every now and again.

Brilliant idea Rose, thank you!
I can only take my hat off to all SANParks staff for the way in which they handle queries of all sorts, sad and/or bad incidents happening in the Parks, trying to ensure everyone gets the best service possible in the Parks, never turn a deaf ear to any requests, always trying to keep all their guests happy. This includes all SANParks personnel, from the cleaners, up to SANParks Management! A huge big thank you!

Hats off to....Hesther van den Berg and Ruth for their friendly, prompt and efficient service received yesterday.
I was experiencing problems with my e-mails being sent to them. Tried reaching them by phone kept coming back no answer at number. After phoning SANParks directly was put through to Ruth who has an office next to Hesther's, she took my details.
Hesther promptly returned my call and I managed to forward my information via e-mail through a 3rd parties e-mail address.
Within minutes received confirmation e-mail from them.
These two ladies were absolute stars and SANParks can be extremely proud, to have these two conscientious employees working for them.

Rosemary, firstly, take a bow... always an encouraging presence on the forum.
I am going to say that I have been booking hopping lately and I cannot help but be impressed with the system upgrades. The process seems so much smoother and a lot less time is spent waiting for a response.
So to all those behind the scenes.... thank you.

Re: Thursday Thanks Under The Ubuntu Tree
I would like to thank "Nomarnday" who serviced our cottage 47 at Addo.
(Wrong spelling I am sure, but that is how it was pronounced!!!!)
She always had a smile, and was so polite and nice.
The unit was spotless.
Would also like to thank Brenda at Storm's River Mouth, who arranged for someone to come and fix the bathroom window, and the patio door. We asked at reception and within 10 minutes she visited us, and within an hour all had been fixed.
Also all staff at both Cattle Baron's.

Re: Thursday Thanks Under The Ubuntu Tree
Hi Rose,
We have been back home from Kruger for a month or more now, so have had no involvement as of this week, but maybe you can pass this on.
As you are aware the heat experienced over the last months has been beyond belief and when we checked into our Skukuza bungalow in early Jan, we discovered on our first night that the aircon was not working properly and making the most terrible noise, to the point where we had to actually switch it off, or get no sleep.
Before leaving for our drive the next morning we reported it to reception and by the time we got back to camp 3 or 4 hours later, it had been repaired, in fact I think it may even have been a 'new' re-conditioned aircon. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the lady who assisted us, but if you wouldn't mind passing our thanks on to all those on duty the 3rd Jan 2016.
