Common Long-tailed seps - Tetradactylus tetradactylus
Body thin, short. Long snake-like tail (three time body length)
Only 4 toes on each of very small limbs.
Back olive, dark brown stripe on each side, black and white bars on side of neck.
Hunts small insect, grasshoppers, in montane grassland and fynbos.
Lays 3 -5 eggs in Summer.
Southern regions to Eastern Cape.
