I was once given a certificate to show a donation to the 'My Acre of Africa' project. There was to be a model of Kruger made at an education centre at one of the Gates. Does it exist? I am visiting Kruger soon, will I be able to visit it?
Any information appreciated.b
Thanks

Re: Acre of Africa
My wife and I bought our brick of "MY Acre of Africa (brick nr 1183) in December 2002. We also received a certificate signed by Nelson Mandela (printed, not original). Since then we have tried unsuccessfully to visit "My Acre of Africa": no one seems to be aware of the place. We did our last attempt (2013) at the gate of Phabeni: no one has been able to give us information.No news about website http://www.myacreofafrica.org and http://www.myacreofafrica.co.za.
DinkyBird , if you visited the place, please tell us where and when.

Dear 'Mites;
We have a brick database on the system and it is very easy to track a brick amongst the many laid at the Phabeni Environmental Centre’s path ways. What can help us in identifying the brick is by letting us know the inscription on it not the brick number.
Please send an email to [email protected] with the correct brick inscriptions, the second option is to notify Lindiwe of the dates that you would like to visit the Centre, and she will gladly assist.

Re: Acre of Africa
Many thanks , DirkyBird !!
Next visit in Kruger Park we'll go there looking for our brick !
The place is very different from what we thought was. We had figured something like a large map of the Kruger made with the bricks. Every Kruger's area made with its own color : blue for riverine, green for forest etc etc. Our brick would have to be black because it represented the area of the total eclipse of 2002 (the most expensive brick
