I picked this up in Cape Town before coming to Kruger last year it was an excellent read. Some of the stories are astonishing particularly the snake ones when people drive for miles with it in the car or around there feet.

101 Kruger Tales

Unread post by Mischief »

What an amazing book compiled of extraordinary visitors to the KNP  Compiled and edited by Jeff Gordon.
It had me in fits of laughter, tears running down my face at how brutal nature can be and a whole lot of WoW I have been there and done that.
Will definitely appeal to that dying breed of Kruger visitor:the one who loved the communal log fire at night, the one who still waves a greeting to the oncoming car and also sometimes stops to tell you about the three lions just 2km's back. Also has incredible video camera and cine..also lovely photos black and white.
An excellent read that I highly recommend.

Hi Hugh,

Firstly let me say I love your kitty cat :P I have a beaut furry daughter too and cannot imagine my life without her.

Secondly I felt very daring this morning and sent email to the people who put together the first book and very sweetly enquired  when the 2 one will appear on bookshelves for sale.

No answer yet,but I will post it post haste when they do.
