Re: Identification Help – Tuskers
Hi Rosemary,
Just back in Kruger again.
Two bulls to share, don't think they would classify as tuskers.
Nice to see anyway.
First one obviously still very young bull, with lots of years and growth ahead
An older bull with sunken temples, yet very solid and huge when swaggering down the road. Has the bump on BOTH shoulders, left and right.
God bless,
Friedrich von Hörsten

Hi Friedrich
Great that you are able to be back in the park.
I agree with you re the first elephant and will check to see if the second one is perhaps a known bull. Please PM with the details of where you saw him

Re: Identification Help – Tuskers
Hi Rosemary, can you please confirm the name of this bull we have seen during our visit to KNP in December 2020. My ID is that it can be N'waTindlopfu, if you match the triangular shape on the 2nd rich on the front part of the trunk.

Re: Current Tusker - Botsotso
On my recent (Jan/Feb) trip to Kruger I saw and photographed two bulls with large ivory. I would like to see if they are regarded as tuskers but am reluctant to simply post the pictures (poaching).
Can anyone advise how I can check if these are emerging tuskers. Two absolutely beautiful elephant bulls peacefully grazing side by side.
