Hi, Rosemary and all. Since I posted this it has been confirmed his name is "Ezulwini"
Couple of snaps of a very nice tusker at Elephant Dam at Balule reserve yesterday. Tried to get better snaps but as normal he would not oblige and come closer. Plus the wind had gotten up and the cam was shaky. If an ID is possible I would be so grateful

We saw this female yesterday and was wondering if she is known. She only had one long tusk, her other one was broken. She had a small calf with her and part of a large herd.

She is not one of the named females but I will ask if there has perhaps been a previous sighting or file for her.

Thanks so much for your submission to the SANParks Emerging Tuskers Project of this bull wildtuinman. He is a known bull that has been monitored in the area for quite a while. Sightings of him have been very limited. First submission being in 2017 and again in 2023 so your sighting and submission is very welcome. Thank you.

Although his tusks have not changed much since the first submission and appears to be an older bull, he will definitely continue being monitored.

I think he is rather a handsome fella Nice sighting.

wildtuinman, this is another known and monitored bull in the area. Sightings have also been very limited on him so nice for you to have seen him and submit your sighting to the project. He appears to be quite old and probably won't develop much more to qualify joining the ranks of the named tuskers. Thank you for your submission to this project of this bull.
