Passing of Nwashinangaan
Passing of Nwashinangaan
I have been informed that the time for "Nwashinangaan" had come on Friday 10 January 2014 at the age of 78 years.
He was the man who spent 28 years of his life in the KNP as the Ranger occupying posts at Klipkoppies, Mhlangeni, Malelane, N’wanetsi, Kingfisherspruit, Satara and Houtboschrand.
After retirement he lived in Sabie where he still continued his hobby - making very special knives, using special steel and indigenous wood.
The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 15 Jan 2014 at the NG Kerk in Skukuza at 11:00.
Ted Whitfield will be missed by wife Sue, son Steven, Ranger at Tshokwane, daughter Sharon - wife of Don English, Ranger at Skukuza, retired brother and sister in law Mike and Andre English, and of course many old colleagues and friends.
I had the privilege of also being able to call Ted a friend of mine.
Dear Ted may you Rest In Peace.
