Wild Card and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife

Unread post by saraf »

Please note that some of the KZN parks are not part of the Wild Card scheme.

In addition, please note the following:

Wild Card visits

Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife
Visitors entering Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife entrance gates with a Wild Card are required to produce proof of applicable membership (All Parks or EKZN Wildlife cluster) and validity. The following forms of proof are accepted: purchase receipt, application completion, or confirmation letter for renewal or update (issued on purchase of a Wild Card). In addition, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife requires proof of identification which corresponds with the ID/passport number on your letter or receipt. In the interests of visitors, existing and potential Wild Card members are reminded of this ruling. Visitors without proof of validity and applicable membership will be denied free access through EKZN Wildlife entrance gates until the Wild Card hardware is rolled out and system training at Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is completed.

Please ensure you have the required documentation before your visit.

Wild Card in KZN

Unread post by Flavia »

In which park of KZN the Wild Card is accepted?
According to the Wild Card webpage is OK in Hluhluwe and Umfolozi, but not in Isimangaliso (Kosi Bay, Sodwana Bay, Cape Vidal).
And Tembe? Ithala? Mkhuze? Pongola and Jozini lake (if you want to go on a boat cruise on the lake you have to pay the fee?)?
Surely is not accepted in Manyoni since it's a private reserve.
Thanks in advance.

You can find a list of the places in KZN who accept the Wild Card here

You will need to take proof of purchase because some parks in KZN do not have access to the Wild Card online system, and will not know whether the card is still active or has expired.
