Perhaps this question was too difficult to research. Albasini was a real wheeler-dealer. There were at least eight trading posts and stores:

1845 Magashula’s Kraal trading post (Albasini’s Ruins) at Phabeni Gate
1846 Manugukop trading post (with headman Manugu) south of Pretoriuskop
1846 Ship Mountain trading post (with headman Josekhulu) on Voortrekker Road
1846 Albasini Store near Lower Sabie (ruins destroyed in constuction of tarred road 1969)
1847 Origstad town shop
1849 Lydenburg trading post (with Casimiro Simoes)
1853 Schoemansdal trading post
1858 Schoemansdal town shop
