Forum Logo on Cars

Unread post by kallis1786 »

Hi everyone.

I would like to know what is the progress on the Forum logo since I have been off the Forums for a while. I will be visiting Kruger soon, specifically on the 21st of June, and I would like to know what is the copyright status of the Logo, and can I Print out the Logo, and my forum name and stick on my right hand mirror instead of the traditional yellow Ribbon. I have put in an example of what I mean in the picture below which is my car, but there is no logo on it yet, I have only done it on Photoshop just to give a clear idea. If it is copyright, I will not stick the logo and my forum name, and just use the traditional Yellow Ribbon.

Hi Kallis1786,

The copyright on the forum logo is still a work in progress. Unfortunately some things in life takes a lot of time.

When this is sorted, items will only be made available to purchase via the VHR's.

Thanks for the reply Lion Queen  , so does that mean that I cannot print out the logo for the time being and stick it on my mirror, like the example above.

I like your idea Kallis1786, pity you cant use it yet.
Just a thought:
Surely you could still print your forum name and put that on your mirror(great idea) and still use the yellow ribbon as normal.
Would that be acceptable Lion Queen?

You may use your name and the Yellow ribbon  , it's just the Forumlogo at this stage that we can't use.

Thanks Cheetah I see you posted while I was typing......... :D

On a recent trip to Kruger - not one yellow ribbon.
However I did see plenty of the RED PLASTIC *** HORNS (available in the parks shop)attached to the front of the vehicles.
I met a lot of people using this method,(had one on my car for many months now)
Watch out for my new PLASTIC *** horn(painted yellow) on the front of my car on your next Krugerparking trip or wherever you see me.

Hi Kallis

The plastic *** horns are available at CNA and also saw them at the shop in Lower Sabie for R 30.00. From what I understand some of the proceeds are donated to *** conservation and also shows your support for *** conservation.
Think it makes my X Trail pretty cool :D
They are attached with cable ties, so easily removable if necessary.

Wow,

It does look pretty cool, so I will defo buy it and use it in the park, and after that it will be dads decision if he wants it or not, by the way is it only available at Lower Sabie because I dont think I will be driving towards Lower Sabie.
