A variety of smells to , just think of the terpintine smell of Commiphora,the parfume smell of Sarcostemma and the stinky smell of Boscia.

Codon royenii
Also known as sugar can/suiker kan,you can suck the nectar from the base of the flower,children love to do that. This plant is a annual or shortly perennial.
Sugar birds also like to build their nests in these spiny bushes.
