11 November 2019 - Full moon
The full moon in November is according to the northern hemisphere alo known as Beaver Full Moon..
It coincides with the time when beaver traps are being set before the swamps freeze to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests it relates to the fact that the beavers are now active in their preparation for winter.
Another name for this month's moon is called the Frosty Moon.

These photo's were taken on 12 November 2019 when it rose at 20h26 from behind the Hottentots Holland mountain range in Cape Town.

Note: not the most perfect :cam:

of the moon, but guess the slight misty clouds could have affected the clarity in some way.

12 December 2019 - Full moon
According to the traditions of the native American tribes the full moon for December is known as 'Full Cold Moon' or 'Long Nights Moon'. The reason is that December is when winter truly begins in most of the Northern Hemisphere, hence names related to the low temperatures and darkness of the month.
Of further interest is that two planets, Saturn and Venus, will be in conjunction — sharing the same celestial longitude.
