A friends mom saw Niki Lauda and party (many many years ago) at Phalaborwa Airport while they were on their way to KNP.
I wonder if he was driving and if he stuck to the speed limit. :hmz:

when i was staying at singita the ranger told my that the room i was staying at
Oprah Winfrey,
Will Smith and
Bill Gates stayed in.
it made me feel so important :lol:

well it was a very nice room though

South African cricketers Albie and Morne Morkel are currently in the Park (weekend of 25/26 June) and just tweeted me this pic of a wild dog on the Phabeni road giving its assessment of the SA v NZ performance in the World Cup earlier this year: http://yfrog.com/h2tl3stj

(To be fair, Albie wasn't playing in that game and Morne actually played brilliantly, taking 3 wickets for 46, off 8 overs. So that wild dog should watch its manners!)

I see somebody famous everytime I go to the Kruger, on our campsite and in our tent (I don't know if I am allowed to say this but here goes) my SO is the lead guitarist with The Bats.

I saw someone famous.
a few years ago we were staying at Skukuza and my sister and i were walking to the Museum when this lady and her child came up to us and asked us where you watch the movie, and what time it showed. we showed her where it was etc.
later that day when we were in the shop with my parents i saw the lady again and we showed my mom the lady - it happened to be Naas Botha and his wife and kids. (I didnt even Know who Naas was) :hmz:

Also about 5 or 6 years ago we went and stayed at our Family Doctor's lodge near the Kruger, Dr Morkel. he is Albie and Morne Morkels Uncle. while we were there Albie and Morne were there to. Albie took us on a Guided walk through the bush. (This was before they started playing Cricket for South Africa) Was really cool to meet them. :thumbs_up:

Saw Dale Chadwick, the Sharks prop, in Mata Mata in Kgalagadi a week ago yesterday. You guessed it. He was in the pool!
