Now that is interesting, Ronnie! :thumbs_up: I always wondered, why there is different lighting on days with approximately the same weather conditions. A lot of it depends on how much light is 'transported' up from P.E. :hmz:

It also depends on how clear the low atmosphere is from Port Elizabeth to Addo, e.g. if there is mist coming off the sea it will block that light from Port Elizabeth to Addo and that is the reason why sometimes you will see the light and then it suddenly disappears as the mist moves in.

The distance I gave of 50 kilometers is "as the crow flies"
and is about 70 kilometers if you travel by car from the center of Port Elizabeth
