Pardon me for digging this up again, but why do people still give as little information as possible about themselves. Some people give a report about the weather in their area and then I am not sure whether they are living in Budapest or Bamako. Should it not be compulsory to at least state the location, male or female , interests and something more? Some of our senior VR's are still known only as 'XYZ' or 'Poppy 123' As stated before, are people trying to hide something? One would respond to a post much better if more detail is available about the member. (BTW, if some of you want more detail about myself, I will seriously consider giving it. My Labrador's name is Juna and the cat, Snollex)

I agree rooies, at least let us know where your hail from !! Now where in the world is Welkom ??

And for you that don't know the Helderberg area comprises the towns of Somerset West, Strand and Gordons Bay and is on the Eastern side of Cape Town, to the South is False Bay and on the north the Helderberg and on the east the Hottentots Holland mountains. We inherited a cat by the name of Bibby when we bought our current house.

Because I registered as vgstephens before I realised that would also be my forum name, people often think that I am male!!

I am definitely an Angel, and I live in South Wales (Brecon Beacons National Park) for 6 months of the year, and South Africa (various locations) the other 6 months.

Val , does the SAS still run around there in Wales ?
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.
