Excellent advice Michief and Hipporagus. :thumbs_up: I also take cutting knives, as the ones provided are rather well used, so have lost their sharpness.

I wouldn't have thought about oven mitts, so thanks Mischief

Still 4.5 months away, but cannot wait to spend a lazy afternoon cooking potjie and enjoying the view from the Stanley Guest House at Satara (first time in this kind of luxury)
