Nossob 4x4 Eco Trail & almost lion food

Unread post by kids@camping »

I'm back after a very long absenteeism time
Life just happens, ruff time at work where about 1/2 of the employees were retrenched :wall: I’ve also received a letter BUT luckily mine were retracted when I was on holiday in Dubai....

A couple of trips to KTP later & some awesome sightings
If you still follow my YouTube channel, you are up to date :gflower:

We left home on 16 November 2024. Overnight just outside Kuruman. We stopped in Upington and Goerapan before leaving for Twee Rivieren.

Arriving at TR, we were greeted by two VERY friendly ladies and we had to produce all our accommodation papers for our stay…

Went for a short drive up to Rooiputs waterhole, before dinner at the restaurant.

Sorry about the rough time at work with the extra stress!

Nice start to your TR and your title is most intriguing.

Looking forward to more.

Looking forward to this. I have done the trail.

I just love red necked falcons. most handsome birds.

Minor detail, your black shouldered kite is a Kalahari chicken, pale chanting goshawk.

K@C, great to see you again. It sounds as though it has been a difficult time.

I love the sentinal Meercat. also the cute baby giraffe.

What  bird sightings. Well spotted Owls. They are often so well camouflaged.

That delicious-looking tart and ice cream has awoken my tastebuds.

Your photos of animals clustered in the shade certainly tell a story. It looks to have been very hot.

Thrilled to have found the start of your KTP Eco Trail TR.

Oooh that cake.

That amazing feeling when you open that gate for the first time and now you are really and truly in the park.

Love the owls and the perching meerkat. Where were they hiding when we were there?

Great raptor and bird sightings with super photos.

I'm sure the female mating near Kij Kij must have been "Supermom" and we never realised it......and no other car. The beauty of KTP!

Ostrich chicks.

I'm on the bus, with my snacks.

Thanks so much for sharing K@C
