Love your Kori and ostrich photos. We saw so many of them.

Little steenbokkie digging away to find a bit of food. :(

What a treat to find a meerkat with her young.

Thanks for sharing your fantastic trip with us.

Most of the animals seem to be looking for shade. Obviously another very hot day.
Great series of the diederic being fed by the chat

Your trip reports are like a rolling wildlife cabaret—I’m loving it! From the ostrich parade to the Black Chested Snake Eagle doing a flyover, you’re giving the Kgalagadi drama a whole new level of flair.

Those “headless” ostriches had me in stitches.  Clearly they know how to keep their heads in the sand—or at least somewhere else!

The springbok and baby ostrich photos were absolutely delightful, and your camp setup sounds so relaxed and inviting. Nothing like two chairs and a table under a Shepards Tree to prove you’re living the good life!

Can’t wait to hear what you found at the Cape Fox den. Fingers crossed it’s a whole nursery of little mischief-makers!

Thanks for taking us along for the ride, always a treat! :gflower:
