Only the second record for South Africa and the first ever for Kruger.
This Spur-winged Lapwing has been hanging around Klopperfontein dam for a couple of weeks now.
It occurs from south-east Europe and the Near East to sub-Saharan Africa, from Senegal to Ethiopia south to Tanzania.
