URGENT NOTICE:
NEW ENTRY AND EXIT ARRANGEMENTS
In an effort to bolster security inside Addo Elephant National Park – new, stricter access and exit protocols will be put into place at its gates as of 1 July 2022. This will be for the benefit of the Park’s fauna and flora, as well as its visitors and staff.
To this end, security scanners will be implemented at gates going forward. As of 1 July 2022, no one will be allowed to enter OR exit the Park without the VALID documentation as listed below, which must be made available for the staff on duty to scan.
• Driver’s license (driver of vehicle)
• ID book/card (all persons/passengers over 18)
• Passport
• Valid vehicle license disk
NO DOCUMENT means NO ENTRY
Please note that this applies to EVERYONE entering/exiting the Park
• All passengers in vehicles
• Staff
• Staff visitors (including pedestrians)
• Official visitors
• Contractors and their staff, including BSP
• Delivery vehicles and their staff
• WildCard holders
• OSV concessions including their visitors
• Bus tours
• Gorah and Riverbend concessions
