Marabou stork tree, that's a new one for us. The ones we saw this trip all had their own personal tree for the night. Maybe the single rooms were all booked up and they had to go for shared accommodation

I can fully understand your wife was on your case. I would have done exactly the same!

Great Marabou shots Jan. Such a pity they were at the end of the queue for the looks department.

Beautiful shots of the Wild Dogs in spite of the shade and that huge Elephant walking through the tall grass is just gorgeous!

Stunning

The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

Thank you for the comments................ appreciated........
.we heard about the Mother Cheetah and two cubs around Satara .........on a afternoon drive just outside the camp we heard the Impala alarm calling.......we waited and our patience we rewarded and the first car to spotted them in the long grass....

..they want to gross the road and as per often the case .. with in a few minutes a traffic jam......

...the mother cross the road and calling the cubs.......

...got a few shots but was blocked in and could not move ......

... despite the bad traffic jam still a amazing sighting just few km from the camp gate ...
