Quick Pay Issues

I am trying to pay using Quick Pay (only option these days) with Amex card and get following error. Obviously not normal, but has anyone had this and how is it resolved (its using an AMEX card).

Although its says declined, key seems to be "Unable to Communicate with MAPS Server"

The transaction was not completed or payment failed

Bank Error


Bank Error Message: Unable to Communicate with MAPS Server

Bank Error Type: failed


Contact your Bank or Financial institution to question why the transactions was declined.

Many thanks - I saw that post but that seems to be related to 3D security, the error I have, on face values, seems to be more a connectivity error and also the AMEX card I have is issued by AMEX (not third party) so struggle to believe SANPARKS developed a system that doesn't work with it as it would mean virtually no AMEX cards work (in which case questions why they have AMEX logo as an accepted card), so I guess would appreciate if anyone can advise if they had luck/issues with Amex cards other than the post referenced below

Let me ask our tech team again to issue a statement in this regard Wilbur.
but in the mean time do you not have a VISA or Mastercard you could use?

My AMEX worked first time today...
