Hi
Can anybody please indicate which of the 19 National Parks do not offer access for normal (soft) road caravans.

Re: Accesibility for road caravan
Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Quick answer, Table Mountain, West Coast, Tankwa, Namaqua, Ais Ais Richterveld, Mokala, Agulhas.
Some have gravel access, MZNP the longest. Some of above have caravan parks nearby outside.

Re: Accesibility for road caravan
Hi PLOMBARD!
I would like to add to RichardJ's comments:
Mokala - not recommended for normal caravans but have seen some there - the road is very poor inside and outside the park -so don't know what state they would have been when they got home.
Richtersveld - you could get as far as Sendelingsdrift but no further. You would have to travel via Port Nolloth and Alexander Bay - tar to AB and gravel after that to Sendelingsdrift.
Kgalagadi - no further than Twee Rivieren - again, have seen normal vans and motorhomes in both Mata Mata and Nossob but the roads are not for normal caravans - corrugations; sandy and narrow in places with steep sides.
