Missing the Cape of Good Hope?? We have a little something to share with you ⬇️

Since the beginning of the nationawide lockdown, we have observed that animals one would ordinarily not see close to the roads, are now moving closer to the verges to browse or graze on vegetation.

During lockdown, each patrol team has spotted caracal and klipspringer during day light hours out in the open.

Furthermore, many marine birds are now using some of the coastal rocky areas to roost on during the day in higher numbers in the CoGH area.

Thank you Matthys for sharing this interesting information regarding the Cape of Good Hope during the lockdown period :thumbs_up: It will be interesting to read how the animals in the other SA National Parks are responding to the absence of human activity during this time.
