A Natural History Guide to the Arid Kalahari

Unread post by Yoda »

A Natural History Guide to the Arid Kalahari (including the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park) - Gus & Margie Mills

A lovely 200 page publication on the GTP and adjacent private reserves.
Chapters include climate, vegetation, predators, antelope, birds, reptiles, insects etc.
A chapter on the history of the national park, how to get there, where to stay (details on the camps etc).

The photography is excellent.
Well worth getting if you are regular visitor to this national park, or just interested in the wildlife of the area.
