A dead Sperm Whale has washed up onto Swartvlei Beach.
Initial estimates suggest it weighs around 30ton. Researchers from Bayworld will come through this afternoon to take measurements and samples. They will try get to the stomach to investigate the contents. The carcass will probably be buried next week when it is washed up a bit higher up the beach and all the Research work has been completed.
Jonathan Britton, Marine Ranger for the Wilderness section of the Garden Route NP confirmed that SANParks rangers are also on site.

Poor whale though the Peeps must act fast or else the Pong will overwhelm most of the wilderness and surrounds . I am sure the experts will find the cause of its death .Thanks for letting us know
