The Halfcollared is not often seen and photographed. They have the most amazing bright blue colour and one of my favorite Kingfishers :dance:

After spending so many hours chasing my perfect MK diving shot...I finally got my dream shots of the MK diving against a perfect BG :dance: :dance:

They are so fast when the dive but that day my reaction was spot on... :thumbs_up:

Jan, I recently bought a copy (2nd hand, it is out of print) of the Helm Kingfishers, Rollers & Bee-eaters off the World.
