New book: Kgalagadi Self-drive

Unread post by TanniB »

Hello!
I would love to buy the new book "Kgalagadi Self-drive", that looks awsome:
http://kgalagadiselfdrive.co.za/?utm_so ... e-57363929

But unfortunately the postage to Germany would be very expensive. Do you know if it is possible to buy it in the Park or at Ta Shebube Lodges? We will be hopefully in KTP again next december and I wondered if I coud purchase it there... Would it be ok to go to a Ta Shebube Lodge to buy it, even if we will not be their guests?

Thanks for your help!

I saw this advertised on the wildcard e-newsletter

Is it similar to the one published on Kruger last year?

I ordered one from the contact in the Wild card e-newsletter and they keep me updated on a weekly basis as to where the books are traveling. We should receive the ordered books by the beginning of November. Books will arrive in Durban by ship on 3 November and will then be couriered to the various outlets/people who pre-ordered.

HPH Publishing Co.

Lion Queen,
I also can not wait. Hope it will be on the dates they promised.

Edit. I did a quick search and it's not listed.
But it will be. I got my copy of Kruger from ABE

Edit 2:
It is available on NHBS
Cheers for those - havent used before but bookmarked for future reference. Have had an update from HPH now and am hoping to sort a copy in Johannesburg when we pass through.

As this book is available on amazon for a very good price, I ordered one that arrived a few days ago. I have to say that it is brilliant!!! There is so much information (concerning the camps, roads, waterholes...) in it, lots of hints to dens and nests with GPS data, wonderful photos and interesting stories. I can strongly recommend it!

Thanks to the authors for sharing all their knowledge with us. It is highly appreciated.

Kind regards from Tanja

If its anything like its Kruger counterpart and it certainly looks as if it is, then it is definitely a good buy.
Love my Kruger one and keep it as a coffee table read and often find my guests paging through it as well. 8)
