@kittykat23uk - This little beauty is Mofhenyi, one of Miera's grown up cubs. She is approx 16 months old. Can I ask how far from Batulama did you see her, and at what time did you see her on the 1st? How long did you stay with her? Thanks, Wanda

Hi Wanda. We also saw her in the road right at Montrose on Wed 4/10. First spotted her when she stalked something in a bush, then walking in the road (heading north) for a while. Was about 09:00. Then she went off towards the rocky sode of the riverbed and disappeared over the hill. Lovely sighting!

We had the pleasure to see Mofhenyi on the 28th of October, three kilometers north of Gemsbokplein at 14H12.
I first thought the leopard was dead because it was laying down in such a strange position plus it was midday in the summer.

Only after taking the first photo did we see it was breathing. Later changed position, which might have been a bit more comfortable!

Thanks

Hello wanderw We saw her in the morning at 10:30 am and again in the afternoon from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. She was in a tree directly at the road to Mata Mata about 50 m before Gemsbokplein waterhole. She was very relaxed and ignored all the cars standing around all day.
