Yes Karin,

I really hope it’s a controlled fire...not sure if the animals will be safe even when it’s controlled....the small animals aren’t that fast and fires move with great speed...

Would it not make more sense to do a controlled burn during the day?
Instead of blundering around in the dark trying to avoid potential predators trying to take advantage of panicking prey?

But at Orpen tonight a fantastic leopard sighting by MegganS and romanera :clap: :clap: :clap: :gflower: :gflower:

I saw tortoises/terrapins moving away from the fire on the N'wanetsi road earlier, most animals were totally unfazed by the fire but yes, I hope no animals will be harmed
