Unread post by kittykat23uk » Mon Sep 18, 2017 8:12 pm

Hi everyone!

We are continuing our journey through South Africa and we hope to make it to Bontebok National Park tomorrow afternoon. It probably won't give us more than a few hours and then the day after we plan to spend in de Hoop. We havery already had amaz

Does anyone have any advice for a successful mammal and birdwatching visit to make the most of our time? We are staying in Swellendam for just two nights and still have to fit in a visit to Boulder’s Beach before we leave tomorrow.

Thanks!

Jo

Bontebok has fair amount of the hoofed animals but on some of the hikes you might find all the vygies out and that's really pretty Hikes are really just strolls But do enjoy

Thank you. Is there a particularly good place to look for for the rhebok? Any smaller mammals we should look out for and any advice for birding there?

Bontebok is a very small park so if you look carefully you could see most of the hoofed ones . enjoy
