A very good morning to you all.

Stampie, lots of    for your mother.

Billy, this is a special birthday wish from a rodent. I hope that is is a super special day.

Also, thanks for the coffee. I is much needed this morning. I have added a few birthday muffins.

I have my little dog all strapped up. The vet was able to do a closed reduction on her hip, but it will be a while while before we know if her hip will stay in place. She was feeling very sorry for herself yesterday.

It is quite incredible now how vets can use the same techniques on domestic animals as is used on wild life. Little Fawn was tranquilized, the procedure was done and then she was given the antidote. It took about ten minutes.

I do wish you all a super start to the week. :gflower:

Morning all! It was bright and sunny when I got up but grey promising clouds have rolled up and it is very muggy........GA is due shortly .......... :hmz: wonder which will be first - him or the rain??
Stampie - thinking of you and your SO and especially your Mom - fingers are crossed that it will be good news today.

MM - glad that the vet was able to help the little one. Agree with you - it is fantastic how procedures for wildlife and domestic animals are so similar; in fact, have you ever realised how many medications (pills, ointments etc.) can be used on animals and humans?

Val - Oh NO! wet carpet/damp patches on walls and ceiling and 4C???? :( Bet your heaters are going full blast to dry everything. What a pity that you couldn't get to Amelia's birthday party but I'm sure her Nan spoilt her privately! We have only realised in the last 6 weeks whilst P has been using a walker and crutches, just how unfriendly this house is for those whose mobility is impaired. There are steps where there shouldn't be steps and counter tops in the kitchen that jut out into the walk through area - this being a retirement complex it seems as if whoever designed this house didn't think of easy access :(

Billy - Happy birthday and may you have many more! Special delivery of a muffin (with icing and a candle) is on its way - please hide from Hounds :)

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning All

Yes it has been a while, but lots of love to everyone and especially to your Mum Stampie. I am not sure what the problem is, but I would assume it is her eye. Hope all goes well and that she is better soon. :k

Healing wishes for your little dogs hip MM and hope that heals quickly.

Happy Birthday Billy and have a super day. :k

What a sad funeral that is going to be Hugh. I am thinking of you and of the poor family.
Did I miss your birthday Eliz, best wishes and much love.

To all those people who have recently had birthdays and that I may have missed, best belated wishes.
