Morning all.

Thanks for the very welcome coffee, Billy.

Mischief, good to see you stomping around so early. I hope the sunburn is continuing to heal.

Matthys, good to see you back, back, back. 8)

I went with my future SIL and with Sarabi to have lunch at the possible venue. All that I can say about the food is that it compares to the best that I have ever tasted in my life. I could not believe that there is such a gem 2 kms away from where I live. They only use grass fed cows for their beef meals and the herbs are grown on the estate. Everything is sourced from local organic farmers.

The venue has been booked and accommodation for everyone to sleep over. They have a few cottages that are used for conferences or folk wanting a break. Because it is a little bit off the beaten track, it is better that people are not traveling these roads at night.

Well, a new week has started. I do wish you a good one. :gflower:

Morning all! Tea and ginger bics in the caravan with bush view. Still woke up early, but enjoyed the luxury of not having to get up and being able to lie in bed and listen to the bush noises. We had some more rain overnight, but not much.

Morning all! Lovely blue sky. Off to ORT soon to collect daughter and SIL from their Durban flight. They will spend the week with us before flying back to England next Sunday. It is a very short trip and will go so quickly. We had a nice (expensive) breakfast with them at ORT on Friday - we hadn't seen them for nearly 2 years - before they flew to Durban for the weekend. ORT is a disgrace - dirty and dull, half the escalators and lifts from the parking were out of order, our parking ticket couldn't be "read" at any of the pay stations and we were frog-marched up two floors to the parking office to pay - no apologies, only sour faces!!

MM - I'm glad you found a wedding venue for your daughter. There are so many of them out your way - we went to check a few for our younger daughter (the one now living in England) and finally chose Toadbury Hall. It was a wonderful place and they did a really good job - even though most of the arrangements were done by e-mail from England. A few of us stayed over and had a great breakfast on the Sunday morning. That was 2012 - I can't believe how time flies.

Must now go down and ride my young horse before getting ready to go to ORT!

Have a good day and a good week, all.

Mischief you up early too, too hot and sticky or were you itchy or must we blame the other mischief.
Mouse glad the venue has been decided and at least you don't have far to go . though I do hope you sleep over
GEJ nice to have the place all to yourself ... Hope you don't have to rush out today. How is your pet kitty you know the large one with spots ?
GM have a great day at work and you will sneak out to come to 11 o'clock tea at that lovely old housey.
Hippotragus Excitement is mounting and a whole week of chatter with your daughter and family I am very jealous .
Good morning Nkulu
Now today is again windy and I have a beeeg load of washing so that's an hour out of my day as the water has to be pumped onto the garden With the strong sedoos the water just dries up .
See you all at 11oclock for tea

Good morning all.
It's lovely and cool here and the mizzle has just started. Luckily GA has already mowed his way through half the garden. Hope he'll be able to complete the job later.

MM, nice to have the date and venue settled. Time now to sort out the guest list, the decor, the flowers, the dresses, the photographer, the list is endless.

One month ago today was my son and DIL's wedding day. It already seems so long ago.

Enjoy your special family time, Hippotragus.

I want to see if I can get my hair mowed today. It grows like a weed!

Happy pumping, Hugh. I'm sure your garden is very grateful.

Have a great day everyone.
