Here's my next batch of KNP blommies — all mysteries to me :wink:

1. I saw this lovely shrub on the Mahonie Loop

1) Actually a very 'common' plant and lots of places used as a barrier on the median/island of highways. I know in the Berg-en-Dal area there are also quite a lot.
It is Bauhinia galpinii
Pride of De Kaap, Vlam-van-die-Vlakte (Afr)
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

This is Bauhinia galpinii - "Pride-of-de kaap" Bauhinia (Eng.) - "Vlam-van-die-vlakte" (Afr.)

It is usually a multi stemmed climber, scrambling over other other trees and bushes, but can also be a multi stemed small tree. Flowers in summer (+/- November to February.
