Especially love that second one! Beautiful! Puffed-up against the cold?

A Buff-streaked Chat sitting on a rock on top of the mountain at Marakele National Park. Thanks to the Forum and "Waterbuck" for the ID ...

Identification Help - LBJs

Unread post by Bushbuddies » Sat Oct 12, 2013 6:34 pm

Just wanted confirmation of 2 birdies we saw in Marakele last weekend.

I think the first is a female Sentinel Rock-Thrush (Langtoonkliplyster) - seen at the look-out point:

On to the Marakele bird... It is a female buff-streaked chat.
