Auchterlonie Female - You are not the first person that has mistaken her for a male. Many thanks for the info.

Your second leopard - Amur! Looks like you had a great sighting!

Thank you for posting. Could I ask you to please fill in AstroMatt's spreadsheet with your sightings info?(If possible) You will find the spreadsheet and AstroMatt's e-mail in the following link:

Great sightings!
Just a short reply to say i saw the Auchterlonie Female twice over the past two days near the picnic site with a really young cub...surely not more than 2 months old! They even crossed the road in front of us :) pics might have to wait for a better connection.

Thanks for the comments, was a wonderful sighting.
We also saw Barolong, but with out her cubs at Urikaruus on the 8th Dec, she came to drink twice.

So it's time to announce the names of Barolong's two new cubs. After discussing it with Lion Queen, Enrico and Jacliz we have decided to call them Tshidi (larger leo and the one i posted pics of on behalf of Enrico) and Seleka (smaller one).
They are named after two of Tau's (a great Barolong chief) sons. At the moment we are not sure of the leopards sex but i'm assured that they can be used for either male or females.
Lets hope they become regulars to both Urikaruus, this thread and the project.

Great to hear that Barolong's cubs now have names :D
We saw them twice south of Urikaruus, pics will follow. And I think on one photo one is able to see that one cub is a male..... :hmz:
