Agree ,also the ladies that help him. It is just difficult to keep track of every body as one do not visit Balule every week
What we find works perfectly as a small present for saying thanks for that exstra is a pack of cheese curls or sweet wheels(family pack /J...snacks).You find these type of snacks relatively cheap, light and it can't spoil in the heat. It could be then also taken to the families outside the park on leave visits.

How is the new bakkie(truck) doing, his friends at Timbavati and Olifants where all talking about the new car.
Balule alway's a nice story or two. :D

We all agree,
so is there a type of reward , in this case Titus.I'am thinking that forum members give their nominations and say every 6 months the top personnel is awarded with say a nice yellow badge of some sort. This badge can be wear on the uniform or hat and distinct these personnel as outstanding.
Just a thought.

Day Picnic area Pretoriouskop

Unread post by Penny » Mon Oct 15, 2012 4:44 pm

The service we received from Priscilla at this picnic site in KNP was outstanding. If only all the staff in the shops were as friendly and obliging as she is then we would have no reason to ever complain about anything. What a pleasure to have our dishes washed with hot water and soap after breakfast (for which we paid) whereas Nkhulu is an absolute disaster. There is no hot water at Nkhulu and their idea of repairing a toilet is to simply place a black bag over it rendering it useless.

Thank you Priscilla you are a shining example of the kind of staff and attitude desperately needed in KNP!

Skukuza Housekeeping

Unread post by Tess Du Plooy » Tue Nov 06, 2012 1:04 pm

A special thank you to the housekeeping and lost property staff at Skukuza! After leaving a Kindle in our vacated accommodation, we were told by reception to pay a visit to Housekeeping where the following staff members assisted in the return our lost property: Eslina Khoza, Norah Silinela, Lucky Mathebule and Willem Nkuna - You guys should be commended on your honesty and efficiency! Keep up the great work in building Kruger's reputation.
Gratefully yours,
Tess :gflower:

Bouquet for Numbi Gate staff

Unread post by fee » Tue Nov 13, 2012 11:12 am

On our recent exit from Numbi Gate, we went into the office to hand in our exit permit.

How refreshing to hear Moitsheki, the staff member behind the counter, explaining in detail, the rules of the park to a foreign couple just entering for the first time.

This was a first for me, (and I visit often), to hear the rules being explained verbally to a visitor, clearly and slowly.

When I told her I had never heard this being done, she was taken aback, and went on to tell me this is done all the time to people entering Numbi Gate.

Well done Moitsheki - you get a big bouquet from me!!!
