Awesome pictures!!!
Spanishwolf think I know this male leopard.
I think he roams the S3, S4 , S1 and H11?
If it is the same leopard, saw him on S3 about 2km from Kruger Gate in a territorial fight
1 of the biggest leopards I have seen

YES SAF!!!!
I really thought it would weigh at least 80 kg. It's huge.
This Leopard is by far the biggest I've ever seen.
It's all a big boy!

I agree

wow

It seems to know to break "the neck".
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

Incredible sighting. I wonder how often pythons are attacked by cats in the wild?

Does anyone know what bird is calling in the background?

I was wondering the same thing.

Hi there,

We normally go to the park at least twice a year.
Last year and the previous year we saw 16 (2010), and about 12 (2011) on the S108, H5. This was in November both times. They must be moving to a new den in this area at this time.

Also had an amazing leopard sighting (mother and cub) in tree with half eaten kill literally on side of road.
Incredible 2 hour photoshot from 6 meters away.

Image

It's quite odd. We were also at the leopard shown below. Checked my nikon, 7.37am Nov 15th, 2011. The kill must have been on the other side of the road, because a Bateluer eagle came down there, and mom bolted down the tree and chased it away.

Neil.
