I also suggest that everyone registers with the online booking system. This does not mean you have to use it to book, but if you register, you can view and manage your bookings via the system. So in STF's case, he could just log on and resend his confirmation letter to himself.

Register here - llink to online bookings

It is important that when you register you use your current client number. The rest is as easy as 123.

to see what happens from this - [quote="cheetah2111"]I have 'reported' your post for attention. So you should get some informed answer soon!! I would say you can relax. It will all be sorted long before the booking

Booking headaches!!

Unread post by Gemma T » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:26 am

I have spent at least 30 minutes on hold to central reservations this morning trying to get booked for next year. Each time aftter 10 minutes the system has kicked me out, given an engaged tone and then gone dead! I'm calling from the UK so this is costing a lot of money!!

I don't mind being on hold, if I get through and get to do what I need. But this was so frustrating and costly and in the end pointless!

Come on SANParks, this isn't really acceptable!

Today will also have a huge volume of calls, at I would imagine at all booking offices, with it being the first working day of the month and booking for Aug 2013 opening.

The JHB satellite office staff were very friendly even though I am pretty sure they must have been exhausted by the time I eventually got through. AND: I could make changes and I got what I wanted!
