May fortune be with you.
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

This forum is divided in 4 sections I believe:
Advice

Sharing
Fun

But imo there is a 5th:
Caring

Even though with just being on the forum for an hour or two it can lift one's spirit. Or it can make you very mad as well, just sometimes depends on your own mood. It is indeed very strange what impact the forum can really have. I know what the forum mean to me, so will others. Sometimes it is very easy to say i'm calling it a day, but then there will always be something that's lacking in your life from my view point that is.
Here I can social, and it helps me to forget my own pain. For that moment I'm elsewhere and soaring most times....

Hey BGS , think of this forum as the lining inside that borehole where you live , and as long as there's a lining , the borehole will not cave in :)

Most of us make mistakes from time to time but as one of our famous Afrikaans writers, CJ Langenhoven, said "n Goeie begryper het slegs 'n halwe woord nodig" Roughly translated ' A good understander only needs half a word' So, anne marie, speak your mind. It is not how you say something, but what you are saying.
Give thanks for unknown blessings already on its way---African saying

SANPARKS RESERVATIONS

Unread post by granny » Mon Mar 26, 2012 3:55 pm

Dont know where to go to post this, but I really must. Have been meaning to for ages, but like most things never get around to it.
A huge big THANKS to all the people who help with reservations. You are all wonderful!
My modis operandi is to search the website for availability, room type etc and the book through central reservations. They email me within minutes with the confirmation, and then I go off to Groenkloof in Pretoria to pay the deposit. They are so great there, ( I must add that in the couple of days from original booking, I've probably changed my booking three times ! Should I go to CB first and then carry on to PKop?? You know what it's like.) But never a sign of impatience. I think they probably toss a coin as to who is next taking my call.
Thanks all, Sanparks can be proud of you all !
