Borders around your photo

Unread post by DuQues » Tue May 24, 2005 10:59 am

A little tool which you may be interested in: Bordermaker.
A guy on another forum I frequent writes this, and it is very handy, so I thought it would be a good idea to post it here as well. Completely freeware, no adds (or addware).

What does it do?

As the title says, it makes borders. Nice little ones, or huge ones, white or black, or any color in between. Text and watermarks can be added in any type you have on your machine. It will do whole directories in one go, and determines whether a photo is landscape or portrait itself (if there is EXIF-info present).

(Edit 23-4-2008, removed old info and missing pics.)

Thijs has released version 3.1, with these changes:
- EXIF information is retained
- Performance improved
- New color picker

And you can start it from the Web now, but will need to have it installed locally.

I use photoshop for my borders and a photo watermarker program for my name, but both are unfortunately not free................ :(

Maybe there is some one else who could help you with free software.............. :D

I use a program called "Photoscape". It is free and you can add borders and also add text on the photos.

Just type the name in google.
"A roaring lion kills no game."
"Until lions start writing down their own stories, the hunters will always be heroes."
"If you kill a tree, you are killing a bird."
“When the sun has set, no candle can replace it.”
