The moisture levels are higher in the plant material during the night and early in the day.

Springbuck does not like it to feed in direct sunlight, but rather in the sade of trees.

it is to warm to wander around in the blazing sun ,beter to have a picnic when it is cool.

Lion Queen, you are absolutely correct.

Because the Kalahari air cools significantly at night and relative humidity therefore increases, many plants are able to take up moisture at this time. By adjusting their time of feeding to night and early morning, antelope are able to take in food when its moisture content is highest; this provides them with the bulk of their water requirements.

No :lol: they disappeared long time ago,I saw a photo of some that was photographed at Samevloeiing waterhole somewhere in the late 60's or early 70s. :D
